Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most celebrated festivals of India. Stepping into 125th Year of Celebration All around India, It is still been the most pious and celebrated festival in India. Millions of People seek Blessings of The Lord in order to achieve Happiness or Goals.
Started around 1600 century, during the rule Maharaja Shivaji, it lost its patronage when India was under British rule. Later under the leadership of Lokamanya Tilak, this Festival was revived in Pune with sole purpose to counter attack the British Rule - Banning the Gathering of the people more than 20, excluding Religious assemblies because of Muslim Prayers on Friday.
The festival became a public event later, in 1892 when Bhausaheb Laxman Javale ( also known as Bhau Rangari), installed the first sarvajanik (public) Ganesha idol in Pune.

THE THING THAT I AM OBSESSED WITH NADIAD IS, BEING A SMALL TOWN BETWEEN TWO MAJOR CITIES OF GUJARAT, THAT ARE 213 REGISTERED GANESHA PANDALS. THESE PANDALS ARE OFFICIAL AND MARK UP CITY'S ESTEEM. THEY ONE OF BIGGEST IN CITY. ELSE THEN 213 , THERE MORE THAN 75 UNREGISTERED GANESHA PANDALS. THAT ADDS UP TO AROUND 300. AND WITH THESE ARE SEVERAL HUNDRED HOMES, WHERE GANESHA HAS BEEN WELCOMED. SO FOR TOWN, THE LEVEL OF CELEBRATING THIS WITH AN SPELLBOUND CREATIVITY IS FANTASTIC.....
VISARJAN AT DHRUVIL CHAVDA'S HOME ( AFTER 5 DAYS ) : AMIDST RAINS AND STORMY WEATHERS, INDIA CELEBRATED VISARJAN OF LORD GANESHA ( AFTER 5 DAYS FULL OF CELEBRATION AND HAPPINESS- THE CITY CHEERED IN THE COLORS OF LORD GANEHSA AND THEY ENDED THE FESTIVAL( 5 DAYS) WITH HOPE THAT "BAPPA" WILL ARRIVE AT THIER HOMES NEXT YEAR AND SHOWER THEM WITH BLESSINGS.              THERE IS SHE, MY MOTHER CONCLUDING THE POOJA......
