Support Digital India !!!

Support Digital India Via Facebook, I did - JK......
E-governance initiatives in India took a broader dimension in the mid 1990s for wider sectoral applications with emphasis on citizen-centric services. The major ICT initiatives of the Government included, inter alia, some major projects such as railway computerization, land record computerization, etc. which focused mainly on the development of information systems. Later on, many states started ambitious individual e-governance projects aimed at providing electronic services to citizens.
So Here, Narendra Modi - Currently on USA trip, has been meeting all the kings and maestros who have been providing Excellence to the world in Technology Sector.....
Earlier in the week - He Met Sundar Pichai (CEO, Google.Inc),  Satya Nadella (CEO, Microsoft), Mark Zuckerberg (Founder, Facebook).....To establish their Projects in India, and help India developing as a nation with their Expertise and Techs......
In Meeting with Sundar Pichai, At Google HQ, Mountain View, California, Modi Made deal to give Free High Speed, WIFI Hotspots over 500 Indian Railway Stations......

The Project Digital India is predicted to be completed by  2018-2025......
So, what it is Project Digital India ???

Digital Infrastructure as a Utility to Every Citizen

  • Availability of high speed internet as a core utility for delivery of services to citizens
  • Cradle to grave digital identity that is unique, lifelong, online and authenticable to every citizen
  • Mobile phone & bank account enabling citizen participation in digital & financial space
  • Easy access to a Common Service Centre
  • Shareable private space on a public cloud
  • Safe and secure cyber space
As we know, being one of the most populated countries of the world......the connection to Internet is being reached to some of the remote areas of country. And to be Concerned of, India has not being able to provide the servers to acquire High Speeds.
So the High Speed Internet, enables all the services and clouds to work upon easily and lets the public develope themselves and the nation.....

Governance & Services on Demand

  • Seamlessly integrated services across departments or jurisdictions
  • Availability of services in real time from online & mobile platforms
  • All citizen entitlements to be portable and available on the cloud
  • Digitally transformed services for improving ease of doing business
  • Making financial transactions electronic & cashless
  • Leveraging Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) for decision support systems & development
If you have been In India for atleast 5 years of service or residence, you all know that nothing can be worked upon without giving the bribe or extra money....and the Govt. works cannot be done within days, it may take minimum of 2 months or may take a year......

So, Now the government of india is setting up the Internet Base - namely a server based Governing System to provide the Citizens of India a fresh and Fast Service....
The ultimate objective was to make all government services accessible to the common man in his locality, through common service delivery outlets, and ensure efficiency, transparency, and reliability of such services at affordable costs to realise the basic needs of the common man".

Digital Empowerment of Citizens

  • Universal digital literacy
  • Universally accessible digital resources
  • Availability of digital resources / services in Indian languages
  • Collaborative digital platforms for participative governance
  • Citizens not required to physically submit Govt. documents / certificates
Digital connectivity is a great leveller. Cutting across demographic and socio-economic segments, Indians are increasingly connecting and communicating with each other through mobile phones and computers riding on digital networks. The Digital India programme itself promises to transform India into a digitally empowered society by focusing on digital literacy, digital resources, and collaborative digital platforms. This also places emphasis on universal digital literacy and availability of digital resources/services in Indian languages.
So Now, Indians Will learn, Read, Write......and develop...
